Design Skills

Since 1982, I have designed, developed, and/or evaluated web sites, multimedia programs, expert systems, database applications, and a multitude of other computer programs. Additionally, I teach multimedia and web development, instructional design, authoring langjuage, human-computer interface design, usability engineering, and evaluation courses at Utah State University.

Although I can program in a variety of web-based languages (e.g., javascript, perl, asp), I prefer keeping web pages simple and accessible--see my design philosophy page. The tools I use most frequenlty include HTML (using Dreamweaver), Flash, and javascript.
